Hi 

Today I've decided to do my weekly post on the smart look, for work, business meetings etc. or anywhere where you have to dress formally.  Dressing formally is not always what we prefer at times, but it has to be done.

This is an outfit I wore when I had to go to a business talk. I'm wearing a black midi skirt and a grey blazer with black sandals.

I am not really a big fan of formal outfits ... but I chose this outfit because firstly I love it. I have an hourglass body shape although an hourglass body can ideally pull of many outfits and clothes, I find I have that I have trouble with finding clothes that fit on the way I would like them to.

So here I've got a black bodycon high waisted midi skirt which gives it that formal touch. This is one them clingy skirts that hugs you perfectly when you put it on, and a greyish silver crop like blazer to add a pop of color, paired with black sandals to give it a bit of style.

I love this outfit because its not too dull and down and boring. But its classy and stylish !!

I didn't add any accessories because ... Well I forgot *covers face* but this could go with a silver statement necklace or a simple one, whichever one you chose.

This is a great outfit you can wear to work or a business meeting, I think you can even go for a formal lunch dressed like this.!

But there I was ready to go..

My Midi Dress

This is a midi dress I got one day when I went into town, looking for something to add to my wardrobe. It's a lace 3/4 sleeve scuba midi dress. Which is a beige kind of color,  it has a lovely lace detail which I like around the waist and on the sleeves.

I chose this dress because I like the way it fits, it's not too tight but not too lose it has just the right amount of sophistication and its trendy too. I usually go for brighter colors but for this one I had to make an exception. 

There are many places you can wear this dress depending on the dress code. Whether it be a dinner date or baby shower or party. Or whatever occasion. 

Here I've paired it with a pair of patent black heels and I didn't add too many accessories I wanted to keep it simple with a small pair of pearl earrings.

And there I was ready to go ...

My Favourite Black Dress

 Hey Guys!! :)

Today I'm doing a post on one of my favourite black dresses. I wore this when I was going to an outing in summer, with my family and friends

This is one of my favourite outfits, I was wearing a black dress and a turquoise necklace matching with turquoise pumps. I love it because first and foremost I got this dress on sale for £10..!!! (I know bargain right?!?!). Primark is not the ONLY place you can go to look good for less. But secondly I love the way it fits on my body without showing too much to make me look trashy. Remember less is more.!! Thirdly the texture is just amazing I love silk, It gives the outfit a formal feel, transitioning from day to night.  

A black dress should be in everyone girls closet, every woman needs one.  It can be worn for many occassions whether special occasions or events that call for a simple look. With this dress there are many ways to change the look of this and have it change easily with a few accessories or for a completely different look, it can be worn with a colourful blazer. 

 

 

Off course I'm not the best when it comes to posing ;) 

 

The dress had an elastic fit  and a rouge style pattern around the waist to which gave it a little more detail. It wasn't so plain. 

 It aslo fitted perfectly around my chest, I know sometimes strapless dresses can be a bit of a pain when it comes to fitting always having to pull it up.  Not to forget the gorgeous pocket detail at sides.

 

The best thing about this dress is I know I'll be able to use it over and over again. 

But anyway there I was ready to go and have a fantastic night..!!
